Get quick, smart help with your marketing.
Mighty Pen Marketing is a freelance marketing strategy and business writing consultancy managed by Steven Brown. I'm located near Berkeley, California and offer marketing consulting services to clients in the San Francisco Bay Area, other parts of California, Oregon, Washington, and elsewhere in the United States.
Benefit from my experience
My 15 years of experience include sales, marketing, and management at large and small businesses. I have a strong background in business analysis and marketing strategy, which support my expertise in writing—for the Web and print, advertising, corporate plans and presentations, and other marketing collateral. I know how to make a positive impact with each form of communication, and ensure that messaging is both consistent and memorable across all media.
Contact me to get started
I'm available for short and longer-term marketing and business writing projects. I work remotely with clients throughout California, Oregon, and Washington, and can travel to your location near Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose. Contact me to discuss your marketing needs and how Mighty Pen Marketing can help.
It's ironic that...
Edward George Bulwer-Lytton (1803-1873), the English novelist and statesman who is credited with the expression "the pen is mightier than the sword," is considered to have been a terrible writer. So bad, in fact, that there's an annual fiction contest in his honor. Considering that, I, who absolutely love great writing, don't feel too bad about naming my business "Mighty Pen Marketing."
